Ed Philips: C12 Area Chair - Metro Tampa Bay

Upon graduation from the University of South Florida, Ed became the youngest ever Executive Director within Lifeline International, a worldwide network of Christian-based 24 hour crisis lines located in more than 150 cities on four continents. During his five years of leadership in Tampa, Ed doubled the size of the organization and added five auxiliary ministries.

In 1987, Ed joined Dale Carnegie Training as a Training Consultant and Instructor. For 14 years, Ed worked with CEO’s, business owners and managers from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies to help increase their bottom line profits and measurably improve the performance of their people. In 1992, Ed was promoted to Sales Manager and Director of Instruction in the areas of sales training, management development, customer service, and high-impact speaking skills.

Prior to joining The Tampa Bay C12 Group in 2005, Ed started and operated his own business development company in 2002 in the Tampa, Clearwater, St Petersburg area, working primarily with business owners and their teams to improve sales and leadership skills.

Ed brings over 25 years of wide-ranging, proven experience to the Metro Tampa Bay C12 Group members, helping them to reach their companies' business goals and ministry objectives. Serving Christian Business Owners and Christian CEOs in Tampa, Clearwater, St Petersburg. Christian business stewardship - run God’s business for His glory.
