Fund Raising Tips!

• Get excited about your mission trip fundraiser.

• Make a list of all the people you know. i.e. friends, relatives, doctor, lawyer, dentist, teacher, neighbors, parents co-workers etc

• Write a Fund Raising Newsletter not longer than one page; Send them out as quickly as possible. Do follow-up call on your newsletters two weeks after they are sent out.

• Sell chocolate, chocolate roses or other fund raising products.

• Set a monthly goal. i.e. if you have 4 months to raise $1,000. set a goal to raise $250 each month till you realize your goal.

• Don't wait till the last minute to raise the fund. start early - start now.

• Write down all pledges and never be afraid to remind them.

  Send Thank You's to major fundraiser sponsors and fundraiser contributors:

• Make souvenirs or gifts for your major donors while on your mission trip.
• Have a family/friends barbecue. (they all bring dishes so it won't cost you a dime)
